Simulacion con R-Project del ejercicio de calcular los margenes a de la probabilidad

$P(-a\leq t_{18} \leq a)=0.99$ de una distribucion t-Student. Se puede hacer de varias maneras.

  1. Sin instalar nada

    Programa.
    ># P(-a <= x <= a)=P(x<=a)-P(x<=-a)=P(x<=a)-(1-P(x<=a))=2*P(x<=a)-1  
P(x<=a)=(0.99+1)/2

>	
>qt(p=(0.99+1)/2, df=18)
[1] 2.87844

     

  2. Instalando el paquete (package) de R, distr

    Programa.
    >library(distr)
